Meet Ron

    Aaron Trethewey is a Minnesota native with a lifelong connection to hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Growing up in rural Minnesota, he spent his time in the woods and fields—learning how to hunt, fish, and respect the land alongside family and friends.

That passion carried into adulthood, where hunting became more than a hobby—it became a way of life.

        Before starting Ron’s Taxidermy, Aaron worked in construction, where he built a reputation for precision, discipline, and attention to detail. Anyone who knows Aaron knows he holds himself to a higher standard than most—taking pride in doing things right and putting in the extra time it takes to get a result he’s proud of. That same mindset carries into every mount that leaves his shop.

     Ron’s Taxidermy was built out of a desire to create something of his own and spend more time with his family, while staying connected to the outdoors he grew up in. What started as a personal passion has turned into a business focused on preserving the story behind each hunt.

      Today, Aaron brings together his hands-on work ethic, respect for the outdoors, and commitment to quality to create mounts that reflect the animal and the experience behind it—from first bucks to once-in-a-lifetime trophies.
